Blooming Flower Drawstring Dice Bag Transmutation Spell Crochet Tutorial

Description

If you have seen some of my other patterns, you know that I write them with a narrative style as if a wizard is transmuting yarn into an object! After all, don’t you sometimes feel like a wizard when you are reading the abbreviations and lines of a good crochet pattern and turning string into something new and wonderful?

This pattern is designed to make a dice bag that a dragon can nestle around (think Sleepy Dragon) or guard (think Standing Dragon)!

This pattern was developed with worsted weight yarn in mind, or gauge 4 yarn! It uses a 4.00 mm hook, though you may try out others!

This is the final pattern I am developing for the dragon companions book!

Also, there are so many cool dice bags out there, but a lot of them have a neutral or maybe masculine aesthetic, so I figured why not fully lean into the flowery motif! So, when closed, this looks like a bud, and when open, it lays flat in a flower!
